Many thanks to all those who helped the Celadon horses make it to the ring to compete and again thank you to Adam Wellington from Wirrum Park stud for doing a great job showing Alibi in all her led classes!

Congratulations to Amanda Riordan on her great successes at the East Coast Arabian Championships with her filly Celadon Elusive!!! Celadon Elusive won Junior Champion Arabian Stockhorse and then went on to win Reserve Champion Arabian Stockhorse on Finals night.  C.Elusive was only beaten by Aloha Evita's (Elusive's mother) full sister, the lovely mare Aloha Kirralaa!
24 Feb -1 March 09 - Royal Canberra Show
A great show was had by Celadon Show Horses and friends at Canberra this year!

Celadon Alibi was a star and took out the hat trick of wins in all her three breed registrations which was very exciting!  Alibi started the show with a win on the Thursday in her ANSA filly class and then went on to win Reserve Champion ANSA mare in a lovely line up of mares.
On the final day of the show we got off to a hectic start with six of our teams horses competing in the morning!  Donna Murray's team of gorgeous ponies had a very good morning with placings in the Derivative and Saddle Pony classes and also in the Buckskins in the afternoon.

The highlight of the last day of the show though was Celadon Alibi winning Champion Arabian Derivative Mare/Filly!  A big thank you to Adam Wellington who did an expert job of showing Alibi to all her wins throughout the show!
Congratulations also to Paul Wardell and the Silverthorn show team who won Reserve Champion ASH gelding with their handsome chestnut, Silverthorn Rookie!
Saturday was also a busy day in the heat and wind! Chanelle McLennan had a great morning with her lovely paint horses, LP Ringin' for and Angel and Wizz's Hunch who won the titles of Champion and Reserve Champion led Paint Horse respectively.  Chanelle continued her winning streak in the ridden class and again on Sunday placing in the led pinto classes and winning the ridden pinto gelding class!
The Stockhorse day on the Friday was an excellent day for Waylon J Justice and his progeny. Jarendan Just Is, Sharyn McKell's gorgeous chestnut ASH colt started the day successfully placing 2nd in a great line up of colts.  His dad continued the success by winning Reserve Champion ASH Colt/Stallion.  Celadon Alibi then won her class and Wirrum Park Justified followed on by winning his 3yo gelding class also!!  An outstanding result for this wonderful sire and his progeny at a Royal Show.  Justice continued the winning streak the following day in the ridden classes with Reserve Champion ASH hack!

April 2009 - Sydney Royal Easter Show
We kicked off the show on the first Thursday with C.Alibi being awarded a placing in her led ASH filly 2yrs and under class.  It was a big class of lovely fillies which was won for the 2nd year in a row by Paul and Julie Wardell's typey bay filly, Silverthorn Isabeau.  Paul and Julie had a great day with their stallion Knight's Jugaby winning Champion Stallion for the 2nd time at Sydney - Congratulations!!!
Celadon Elusive - Best Junior ANSA Exhibit Sydney 2009
The ANSA day continued to be successful with a 2nd placing for Vixon (pic right), Sharyn McKell's eyecatching 16hh+ black warmblood mare in the ANSA mare over 15hh class.  This was followed by a win for Adam Wellington in the ridden ANSA stallion, mare or gelding ne 15hh class on his always lovely black stallion, Waylon J Justice.  Justice did an outstanding workout for the Championship but was unfortunate not to be sashed the overall champion as he truly deserved the title (as was agreed by all on the sidelines and many well wishers after the class!!)

Not wanting to miss seeing a good friend possibly win Champion Galloway at Sydney Royal, many of us made our 3rd trip back to the show on the Monday to cheer Pam and Zoe on!

With another great work out, Pammie took out Reserve Champion Galloway and was only just pipped at the post for the Championship title by a seasoned Willowcroft galloway shown by Kim Durante.
Congratulations Pammie on an outstanding show!!  You deserve it!!

26 April 2009 - Southern Highlands ASH Branch Show - Yass
The show got off to a great start early in the day, with success in the futurity classes, despite the atrocious weather of pouring rain and howling winds (the temperature hadn't even made it to 5 degrees when we were leaving at 2pm!).

C.Alibi took out 1st place in a line up of quality youngsters in her 2yo futurity class and Jarendan Just Is, Sharyn McKell's handsome yearling colt placed 3rd in his yearling futurity.  Both classes had large entries which was great to see so late in the season and in such terrible weather conditions.

In the other ring, Waylon J Justice, Adam Wellington's outstanding black stallion and the sire of Alibi, continued the successful morning with Champion Led ASH Stallion. This was followed by a win for both C. Alibi in her 2/3yo filly class and Wirrum Park Justified in his 2/3yo gelding class.  With two Justice progeny in the line up for Champion Junior 3yrs and under ,we were hopeful of a broad sash so we were  very excited when Alibi won the Championship - Junior ASH!

Continuing the day's winning streak, Justice went on to win Supreme led ASH and also the Champion Ridden ASH!

Weather aside, a great day was had by all!  Thank you to Adam Wellington for showing Alibi in her futurity class and also a big thank you to Sharyn McKell and Jocelyn King for all their help on the day!!

There was no doubt in any of our minds however that the highlight of our show was the fantastic results achieved by our dear friend Pammie Bush and her lovely mare, EFA Galloway of the Year 2009 Nottingham Fine Print (aka Zoe)!!

After high placings in the led and ridden ANSA classes along with a win in the led Arabian Derivative mare 14 - 15hh class, the wins continued with a 1st in the novice pony class aboard Gary Alcorn's mare, Nottingham Forever Yours.  The success only continued to get better with Pam's own mare (bred also by Gary) winning her novice Galloway class and backing it up by taking out the Best Novice Galloway title.  Just when she thought it couldn't get any better....  she also won the elite title of Crane Trophy winner!!!  What an awesome show!!  Somewhere in amongst all the excitement of such big wins Pam and Zoe won their open Galloway class which also put them out there for Champion Galloway to be contested on the last Monday of the show.

With our hopes for best Junior ANSA dashed, we pinned our hopes on the 3yo filly class winner Celadon Elusive, owned by Amanda Riordan and shown by Andrew Buckley.  It was a top line up of youngsters - Waylon J Justice progeny dominated the line up with Wirrum Park Justified (3yo Gelding winner) and Jarenden Just Is (2yrs & under Colt Winner) both looking fantastic and presenting as top competition for the title of Best Junior ANSA Exhibit.   Celadon Elusive looked fantastic, and immaculately presented and shown by Andrew Buckley and took out the Championship Best Junior ANSA Exhibit.  Congratulations Amanda and Andrew!!!
A return visit to Sydney the following week for ANSA classes proved to be highly successful for the Celadon Stud.  C. Alibi and C.Evidence competed in the ANSA filly 2yrs and under along with two other nice fillies.  All four fillies were extremely naughty and stirred up by the electric atmosphere of the Sydney Showground which unfortunately lost Alibi the class and she placed 2nd,
with the judge commenting that she loved her but was just too naughty!!

14 &15 August 2009 - Royal Queensland Show 2009 - Brisbane
Sharyn McKell (Jarendan Stockhorses) and I headed off to Brisbane via Grafton with our two youngsters, Celadon Alibi and Jarendan Just Is and arrived eventually after a good trip up the coast - the EKKA isn't so easy to find!!

On day 8 of the show, ANSA day, our show got off to a terrific start with Celadon Alibi winning her 3yo old filly class, soon followed by a win for Jarendan Just Is in his junior colt class, shown by Adam Wellington.  With great excitement Jarendan Just Is was then sashed Best Junior ANSA exhibit 2yrs and Under!!!  Sharyn was over the moon with this deserving win by her gorgeous chestnut colt!  Congratulation Sharyn and Elvis!!

The excitement continued when Celadon Alibi competed in the mare championship and won Champion ANSA Mare against some stunning and well performed mares!!

The success continued for Celadon Alibi the following day in the Stockhorse ring under judge Phillip Kirkby.  After being called in 3rd in a big class of 12 3yo ASH fillies, Celadon Alibi worked her way up the line to win the class!  Again competing against extremely well performed ASH mares in the championship, Alibi continued her winning streak and was sashed Champion ASH Mare!

What a great show for these two Waylon J Justice progeny, and it was nice to have Adam Wellington with us at the show to share the wins of his stallions young stock!  We were lucky enough to be stabled with Paul and Debbie Davidson from Camelot Stockhorses who were a tremendous help to us throughout the show - thank you Paul and Debbie!

The long trip to Queensland, which we had never done before, was definitely worthwhile and we headed home exhausted, but ecstatic with the success of both our horses!!

A big thank you to Sharyn McKell for all her help, support and friendship and for letting us take the "ekka" vehicle on our road trip!!! Congratulations on the fantastic win with your colt - no one deserves it more than you do!!

Photos coming soon.
12 September 2009 - NSW Arabian Championships - Clarendon

15th October 2009 - Stud Update
Celadon Show Horses are elated with the arrival of this season's foal by Waylon J Justice out of Celadon Evangeline.  In the early hours of Thursday morning our new foal arrived safely. We were stoked to see it was black and even more excited to discover it was the long awaited colt foal we had been hoping for as we've only ever bred fillies!
Daylight showed that our new foal is as gorgeous as we'd hoped (and thought we saw in the dark when he was born!) and he even has a small white star so we couldn't be happier! He is a full brother to the very successful Celadon Alibi so hopefully he'll follow in his sisters footsteps...
20th November 2009 - Buladelah Ag Show
On one of the hottest days we've ever shown on, we couldn't believe the turnout of horses!  With over 480 entries in the campdraft which started at 6am and was still going after 8pm that night, we knew the Stockhorse competition was going to be tough.  The day started out well with Celadon Alibi winning  Reserve Champion Led ANSA Mare.

We then headed out in the ASH 2&3 yo filly class amongst some nice local fillies.  C. Alibi won her class and then went on to win the Champion ASH Mare against some top quality mares including this years Sydney Royal Supreme ASH!!!

The day was made even more worthwhile for competing in the heat, when Alibi won Supreme ASH!!
28th November 2009 - National Capital Horse Show, Canberra
What a great show for our lovely black filly Celadon Alibi!  We started the day off with a win in the ANSA filly 2&3 yrs class and went on to win Reserve Champion in the Junior ANSA championship!
It was a hugely successful day for our group of friends at the National Capital Horse Show!

Congratulations to Sharyn McKell's superbly prepared colt, Jarendan Just Is who won Supreme Led ANSA horse and won for Sharyn her first garland of flowers !! ...An awesome win for Sharyn who couldn't stop smiling!! (see pic right) Go Sharyn!!  Well deserved!!!

Just Is also won Champion ASH Stallion!
Later in the day we headed out for the stockhorse classes under judge Allan Willett.  After winning her filly class, Ali went onto win Champion ASH Mare which was terrific.  To continue her winning streak in the ASH classes, she was then awarded the Supreme ASH of the show!
Congratulations also to Glenda, Jacqui (Supreme Palomino - Birdwood Romanz!!! ), Jocelyn, Carol, Jo and Dionne who all won broadies during the show with their lovely ponies!  Overall an excellent show for everyone - we were all happy campers with lots to celebrate - thanks girls for making it a great weekend!!!
Thank you to Kayla from KB Browbands for the stunning browbands made especially for Ali for the show!  They looked terrific and matched Ali perfectly!
Left is Alibi looking looking the image of her father, Waylon J Justice after winning Champion ASH Mare.
6th December 2009 - NSW Youngstock Show, Clarendon
With C.Evidence at the breakers, we headed off with C.Alibi for the last show of the year for the Celadon Show team.

True to form of late, Alibi didn't disappoint and started the day with a win in her ASH 3yo filly class under judge Lindy Walker from Marena Stud.  Alibi continued her winning streak by taking out the Champion ASH Filly and going to win Supreme ASH!

A win in her ANSA filly class saw Alibi go out to compete for Champion ANSA Filly and also win the Championship in that breed too!

This was a hugely exciting show for us with Alibi as it meant for the third weekend in a row she had won Supreme ASH of Show!  A hat-trick of Supremes.... at 3 shows in 3 weeks for our little 3yo filly!

What a way to end an awesome year of showing for Alibi!!!

30 January 2010 - Morisset Ag Show
After a big week at Melbourne Royal and a bit of rainy weather (but can't complain about the rain!), we once again got ready to head off to the first of our local Ag shows for the season with our young 2yo filly Celadon Evidence! This was the first show for Evidence since Sydney Royal last year so we weren't too sure if she'd remember the go, but in true form for all the A.Evita foals, she was an absolute dream to handle and show all day!

To make the day even better, not only was she a sweetie, but she won Champion Junior ANSA horse and also Reserve Champion Arabian Derivative Mare/Filly over some lovely, well performed derivative mares. We were stoked with her performance all day and look forward to the next show with this young filly!
22-25 January 2010 - Royal Melbourne Horse Show
After winning her 3yo ASH filly class against some lovely Victorian fillies, we were over the moon with excitement to then be sashed with Champion ASH Mare/Filly in a line up of top quality mares/fillies.

We are elated with Alibi's led performance as a junior horse... This is the fourth Royal Championship for Alibi in the past 12 months!
We couldn't have hoped for a better start to the 2010 show season for our filly Celadon Alibi!
Congratulations also go to Sharyn McKell and her handsome colt, Jarendan Just Is on winning Reserve Champion ASH Stallion/Colt.  Elvis, led by Adam Wellington, was a standout in his colt class and worked a treat to gain this coveted award over the older stallions!

We made the long journey to Werribee with Sharyn and Elvis and just like our trip to the Ekka, our trip was again made worthwhile by the excellent performances of these two youngsters by Waylon J Justice!!
A big thankyou to Sharyn for again letting us take her car and float, for her help throughout the show and ensuring everything was "Alright" since I had the flu for the entire trip!!! ;-)
5 March 2010 - Bathurst Royal Show
Another great show for the Celadon show team despite the terrible rainy weather!.

C.Alibi added another Royal Championship to her list of accolades winning Champion ASH Mare - this certainly made the long drive and terrible weather worth the trip!
April 2010 - Sydney Royal Easter Show
We took our two young fillies to this years Royal Show and again we had a terrific time with all our friends as well as our horses!

Celadon Alibi had a very good show coming home with 2nd in the ANSA 3yo filly class and 2nd in the Arabian Derivative Mare 15hh and over class. Both classes were well represented by top quality horses.

It was definitely a bridesmaid show for our team this year with Celadon Evidence, our 2yo bay filly by Waylon J Justice out of Aloha Evita, also placing 2nd in her ANSA class!

Congratulations also to all our friends on their excellent performances throughout the show!!!

September 2010 - Eastern Branch ASH Pointscore
August 2010 - Celadon Arbitrator - Sold
Completing an excellent season in the Led ASH classes, Celadon Alibi has been awarded the Eastern Branch ASH Led Hi Point Mare.
Congratulations to Graham and Robyn  Crow of Singleton on purchasing our lovely black colt Celadon Arbitrator!

We are very pleased to see Arbi go to such a wonderful show home with Robyn and Graham who have had terrific success with their horses in the ASH and Hack rings for many years.

Arbitrator is already following in the steps of his successful full
sister, C. Alibi, winning several Championships across his 3 breed registrations whilst out on "western show run" with Robyn and Graham.

We look forward to seeing Arbi out at the shows this season!

August 2010 - Hunter Valley All Breeds Show - Salt Ash
We had a lovely day at our first show for the season, catching up with lots of friends after the winter on what couldn't have been a nicer day to be out showing!

Celadon Alibi competed under saddle for the first time and we couldn't have been happier with how kindly she worked, and even managing to win her ASH Mare Hack class at her first show!
It was nerve wracking but lots of fun to be back in the saddle!
9 October 2010 - ASH State Breeders Championships - Scone
Back to Singleton Showground again for the second week in a row after competing at Singleton Ag Show last week where Alibi won the Novice ASH Hack out of 38 stockhorses!  The turnout of stockhorses was even bigger at the branch show!

Robyn and Graham Crow had a great morning with C.Arbitrator winning Reserve Champion yearling (runner up to the prestigious Buckley Shield winner) amongst a huge turnout of yearlings.  C.Alibi also did well placing 3rd in the ASH Mare Hack over 15hh out of 18 top quality mares!  We are very excited to be out competing our lovely black mare under saddle, following on from her led success as a junior.
Celadon  Arbitrator
September/October 2010 - Eastern Branch ASH Championships - Singleton
Congratulations to Robyn and Graham Crow on their success with Celadon Arbitrator at the Breeders Championships.

Arbitrator placed 3rd in his colt class in one ring and then went on to win the yearling colt futurity in the other ring against the same group of horses!

It's great to see Arbi doing so well for his new owners - well done!
10 October 2010 - Castle Hill Show
We competed Celadon Alibi in her ridden classes at Castle Hill and again had a great day!

In the Arabian Derivative ring, under judge Narelle Kinnear, we competed against an excellent turnout of Derivatives to win 1st in the intermediate derivative over 14hh, 1st mare over 15hh, and then go on to win Reserve Champion Ridden Derivative over 14hh against a really nice line up of horses.

After a break for lunch we competed in the Stockhorse ring, under judge Belinda Scanlon, and were very excited to win the ASH Hack over 15hh class.  Later in the afternoon, we then lined up against 4  lovely stockhorses, including Celadon Alibi's sire, Waylong J Justice, for the Championship class.  All horses did excellent workouts and it sure would have been a tough decision for the judge.  The Championship went to the highly performed stallion, Waylon J Justive who did a great workout.  We were over the moon to then be called out for Reserve Champion amongst such great company!

We are so pleased to now have our young horses out competing well under saddle in their various breed registrations, further demonstrating the versatility of the Celadon horses.

Celadon Fillies - now under saddle
We are so excited about the future saddle careers of our two young horses Celadon Alibi and Celadon Evidence.  Celadon Alibi was broken in late 2009 after an exceptionally successful led career in the Derivative, ASH and ANSA classes as a junior (3 and under).  Not wanting to leave it too late for our other filly Celadon Evidence, we also sent her away to the breaker following the return of Celadon Alibi from the trainer.
With our focus predominantly being on competing Celadon Alibi in junior led classes for the remainder of her 3yo season, we held off on commencing further training under saddle until after Sydney Royal this year.  We continued her training with Paul and Julie Wardell, from Silverthorn Stockhorses over the winter where she spent time at Gloucester with Paul in training and also mustering cattle which was terrific for her development as a saddle horse!  We are so grateful to Paul and Julie for all their help and support in training our lovely mare and we attribute her recent successes to the strong foundations of training she has had with Paul. Tiffany is very plesased to be competing again on a Celadon bred horse under saddle in the show ring.
Thanks to daylight savings we now have a bit more time to ride.  Our 3yo bay filly Celadon Evidence (pictured right) hasn't been ridden since just after Easter when she spent a week in training with Pam Bush (twice winner of the prestigious Crane Trophy at Sydney Royal).  We re-commenced her training this week with Pam and she is proving to be one of the sweetest horses we've had the pleasure of breeding. We are very keen to see her out under saddle next year in her breed classes, led and ridden, and also as a potential newcomer prospect in the Hack classes.   Click on the link below to see a video of Evidence under saddle. Celadon Evidence - video
After many years of breeding we are excited to see our plan continue to succeed producing quality horses, who are versatile enough to not only succeed in the led ring but continue on to become capable saddle horses that would suit any discipline.  We are looking forward to seeing these two youngsters competing throughout the 2010/2011 season as saddle horses.
Celadon Alibi
February 2011 - Canberra Royal
What an excellent show for the Celadon horses!!

The show got off to a great start on the first day of the Stockhorse classes with Celadon Arbitrator, owned by Robyn and Graham Crow firstly winning his junior ASH gelding class and then going on to win Reserve Champion ASH Gelding in a line up of lovely geldings.
December 2010 - National Capital Horse Show - Canberra
An excellent show for Celadon Alibi who continues to improve under saddle at each show.  Alibi won Champion Led ANSA Mare under judge, Sandra James and then went on to win Champion Ridden ANSA Mare.

Jumping from ring to ring, she won her ASH Mare led class in amongst the ANSA ridden classes and then went onto Win Champion Ridden ASH overall!

We couldn't be happier with her laid back approach to being under saddle and look forward to campaigning her under saddle in the new year.
Arbi looked fantastic and an absolute credit to his owners - congratulations Robyn and Graham!!

Celadon Alibi was consistent in the ASH classes with a placing in her led class and then also placings in her two huge ridden classes of up to 40 entries!  For her first Royal under saddle we were very pleased with her performance.

The show success continued for Alibi in the Derivative ring on Sunday winning Reserve Champion Led Derivatve Mare and then also placing in her ridden class!

April 2011 - Sydney Royal Easter Show
What a terrific Royal show Celadon horses had this year!!
The grounds looked lovely and the weather was on our side for the first day of the show on the Thursday.  In the led ASH classes Celadon Arbitrator and Celadon Alibi both did well with Alibi placing in the big mare class and Arbitrator, owned and showed by Robyn and Graham Crow, won his 2 yrs and under gelding class.  Arbi looked excellent - a credit to his owners!! Yearling colt Silverthorn Spiderwick also did well placing 4th in his junior colt class amongst some nice 2yos.
We couldn't have been happier with the performance of Alibi in the ridden ASH classes at her first Sydney Royal and her first season under saddle, with a call in and workout in the Ridden ASH Mare class she was one place off the ribbons but later improved further in her work to gain a 6th placing in the ASH over 15hh Curb class.  Nothing phased Alibi in the ridden, as can be seen in the pic above working on the ring in the hack class while contending with harness and show jumpers!

The weather wasn't so kind to us on the Saturday for our ASHLA and Stockman's Turnout classes but the RAS looked after us by letting us compete out of the terrential rain in the protection of the undercover Marshalling Yard!  After hours of polishing the night before this was a welcome relief to everyone!  Mick took Alibi in the Stockman's turnout class and did well in amongst a lovely line up of horses.  Mick on Alibi pictured right with Paul Wardell on the handsome stallion Silverthorn Shotgun.

With not much to do on the Sunday, we were excited to be invited to join the ANSA Team Penning team!  We had never competed in this event before but Alibi and I gave it our best shot!!  Thanks to some good instructions, and experienced team mates we even managed to put two cows in the pen to come 7th out of 25 entries!!!  Thanks to the ANSA girls for the invitation!!
After a few days off, we then competed in the ANSA led classes. The horses all doing well with placings for Celadon Alibi and our junior filly Celadon Evidence.  Celadon Arbitrator again did well winning his junior ANSA gelding class!
On Good Friday, our 11th day at the show, we competed in the Arabian Derivative classes both led and ridden.  Arbitrator started the day well with a very notable 2nd placing in a big class of derivative geldings.  Congratulations to Robyn and Graham on such a terrific show with their lovely young gelding! In a big class of very nice 14hh-15hh Mares 3 and over, we were delighted for Evidence to be awarded first place by judge Ray Smith!  Alibi's class, Mares over 15hh, was next and she too was placed 1st in her class!  We were so pleased to have both our girls out competing for Champion Mare or Filly and even more elated when Evidence gained Reserve Champion!!  Later in the day, Alibi again gained a 6th placing in a ridden class, Derivatives over 15hh, amongst some top quality hacks.  What great results for Celadon Show Horses for the last day of classes for us!!

A big congratulations to all our friends who also did so well in their events including Paul and Julie Wardell and Sam Davidge, our stable mates for the first week, who all did very well in thier ASH classes.  Donna Murray and Naomi and Tahnee Smyth, our stable mates for the second half of the show who did exceptionally well also, Donna winning Reserve Champion Buckskin Mare/Filly with her gorgeous little filly Radfvord Lodge Nothing is Forever and Naomi with Koorana Royal Jett who deservedly won the Best Australian Pony Gelding!  Pammie Bush also did well with her ever consistent mare Nottingham Fine Print who won Reserve Champion Ridden Derivative!

Thank you to everyone who helped us with our pre-show preparation, at the show and a big thanks to those friends and family who helped us by minding the critters left at home while we competed!!

We look forward to the break over the winter and seeing everyone again for the start of the new season!

Foal News...
We are very excited about the foals our lovely mares Celadon Evangeline and Aloha Evita have produced this year to St Ronan Abdul Smoke, owned by Paul and Julie Wardell from Silverthorn Stockhorses.  These foals are extra special to us as they are the last of Smoke's progeny. Smoke sadly passed away suddenly early  last season soon after our mares had been served.
Aloha Evita was the first to foal in late August, a very handsome bay colt. Celadon Exclusive (aka Ronan) is almost identical to Celadon Evidence his 3/4 sister and already has the same friendly temperament and flashy movement as many of Evita's foals.
Celadon Exclusive (aka Ronan) at 4 weeks old
Four weeks later on a horrible rainy, stormy night Celadon Evangeline had her foal, a black colt.  We were almost in disbelief to see the streak of white on not only his forehead but also down his nose!  Finally a black foal with some white markings actually worth mentioning!  Celadon Addiction (aka Smoke) is just lovely and also a very friendly foal with that bit a spunk that we like our show horses to have!

More photos coming soon....

Show Updates....
We have had a busy few weeks of showing recently with some great results.  Celadon Alibi is looking great and we have been pleased to see that the judges think so too, with Supreme led ASH wins at Singleton Ag Show under experienced judge Teena Bridge and then another Supreme Led ASH win for her at Taree Show.  With limited time to work her under saddle due to work commitments, she is still going well with wins and placings in all her ridden classes at recent shows.
Celadon Evidence has also been doing well with her most recent success being Champion Ridden Arabian Stockhorse last weekend at Hunter Valley All Breeds and A Class Arabian Show at Salt Ash.  Click here to see a video clip of Evidence working under saddle at a recent show.

Congratulations to Robyn and Graham Crow on winning Champion Junior Stockhorse Gelding with their lovely gelding Celadon Arbitrator. Well done!
Thank you to Polly from Pollyanna Photography who took these wonderful photos of our horses recently at the Hunter Valley All Breeds Show at Salt Ash!

We had our third foal born recently, and were lucky enough this time to get a lovely buckskin filly with lots of white.  She is out of Mick's mare Riverdale Temptress and by Silverthorn Shotgun so we've called her Benbrook Gun Shy.
Foal Updates....
Our 2yo colt, Silverthorn Spiderwick got the day off to a great start winning Reserve Champion ASH Stallion or Colt, to Paul and Julie Wardell's, Knight's Jugaby.

In a line up of lovely mares, Celadon Alibi won her class and went on to win Champion ASH Mare.

Last but not least, our yearling gelding, Benbrook Milestone kept the winning streak going. Milo, won his yearling gelding class and went on to win Reserve Champion ASH Gelding against several older well performed geldings.

We were really happy with how our two saddle horses performed as well.  Alibi, won her ASH Mare hack class and in her 2nd ever working class won novice working ASH with some really nice roll backs!  Spiderwick had a great show for his first outing under saddle, placing in his 3 and under ASH hack class and winning his 3 and under working class.  We couldn't have been happier with how well behaved this young colt was both led and under saddle, and this was reflected by the lovely comments we received from onlookers on the day. We are very excited about this year's show team and are looking forward to the next few shows.
Our show season is off to a terrific start with our weekend successes at Morisset Ag Show.

After a week of rain, we didn't think the show would be on but sure enough, the sun came out and the show went ahead and despite the wet grounds there was a good turn out of stock horses.
